A modern dinner salon for thoughtful people, local flavor, and conversation that lingers.
Not a networking event. Not a dinner party with better flowers. The evening is built around the one thing most gatherings leave to chance — the conversation.
Ten interesting strangers do not reliably become a good table on their own. So we compose it: the people, the pacing, the questions, the wine, the room. What looks effortless is the point, and the work.
Each table is composed for warmth and perspective — curious, generous people who are interesting well beyond their titles, and a seat or two for the outsider who creates a little spark.
An opening that puts strangers at ease, a turn that draws out the quiet ones, a question or two with some teeth, and a graceful way to end a monologue. Quietly guided, never steered.
Food sourced close to home, wine with a story, candlelight, and pacing that gives the night room to breathe. Beauty in service of the people at the table — not the other way around.
An ending, not a trailing-off. Guests leave nourished rather than merely fed — with a stronger sense of connection, place, and the feeling that they would do it again.
Through JB Wine Services, an evening can carry a thoughtful wine layer led by James De Smet-Bacon, Advanced Sommelier and wine educator. His approach is warm, informed, and story-driven — history, geography, a little humor — made to bring guests into the wine rather than test them on it.
It is meant to deepen the conversation at the table, not interrupt it. No flex, no quiz, no glossary required.

A private salon for eight to fourteen, shaped around your purpose.
Appreciation, connection, leadership, celebration, a quiet bit of community-building. The reason is yours; the craft is ours. Each evening is customized, but the spine holds: intentional people, beautiful hospitality, thoughtful wine, and conversation with some substance to it.
We co-curate the table with you — your core, our shaping — so the night feels like yours without leaving its best moments to luck.
Tell us who you would like at the table and why the evening matters. We will take it from there.
